Overview

Amazon is hiring a Store Coordinator to manage procurement activities and ensure timely receipt of goods. You'll work closely with various teams and utilize Oracle for inventory management. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Job Description

Who you are

You have experience in operations management, particularly in a procurement or inventory context — you understand the importance of timely goods receipt and stock monitoring. Your organizational skills are top-notch, allowing you to manage inventory levels effectively and escalate discrepancies when necessary.

You are a proactive communicator, serving as the first point of contact for site employees regarding stored standard items — your ability to coordinate with various teams, including Safety and Loss Prevention, ensures smooth operations. You are comfortable working with inventory management systems, particularly Oracle, and have a keen eye for detail.

What you'll do

As a Store Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely receipt of goods and managing inventory levels according to specified stock levels — you will continuously monitor stock and conduct cycle counts to maintain accuracy. You will coordinate with Operations teams regarding Non-Inventory goods and guarantee the availability of goods based on seasonal demands.

You will also handle the reordering process, either by requesting reorders from the Purchasing Assistant or autonomously reordering from approved vendors — your role will involve auditing deliveries and ensuring compliance with 5S standards within the procurement-owned stores area. Your collaboration with internal departments and external vendors will be crucial for maintaining operational efficiency.

What we offer

At Amazon, you will be part of a diverse team that plays a central role in our success — we value collaboration and innovation, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to our mission of delivering the best results for our customers. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we believe in fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment.
