What you'll do
As a Transportation Operations Manager at Amazon, you will lead and supervise a team of Transportation Area Managers across multiple sites. Your primary responsibility will be to streamline logistics operations, ensuring that safety, quality, and performance standards are upheld. You will be accountable for meeting and exceeding operational goals, which will require strategic planning and effective problem resolution. You will also mentor and train your team, helping them progress in their careers while sharing best practices across shifts and locations. This role may require travel up to 50% of the time, allowing you to engage with various teams and operations within your region.
