Who you are
You have a strong background in operations management, ideally with experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment. You are motivated and customer-focused, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Your ability to engage and mentor your team is crucial, as you will be responsible for their performance and development. You are physically capable of lifting up to 49 pounds and standing or walking for extended periods during shifts. You understand the importance of collaboration with various support teams, including Safety, Engineering, and Human Resources, to achieve business objectives. You thrive in a dynamic environment where you can make a significant impact on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead a team of hourly workforce members, ensuring they are motivated and engaged throughout their shifts. You will manage key performance indicators related to safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises. Your responsibilities will include developing plans in collaboration with support teams to meet business objectives and ensuring that all workflows are executed efficiently. You will play a vital role in maintaining customer expectations, ensuring that orders are delivered accurately and on time.
