Who you are

You have a strong background in capacity planning and operations management, ideally with experience in logistics or supply chain environments. You are skilled in analyzing large datasets to derive actionable insights and improve operational efficiency. You thrive in fast-paced settings and enjoy tackling complex problems with data-driven solutions. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams ensures that you can align operational capacity with business needs effectively.

You are detail-oriented and have a knack for identifying gaps in capacity versus plans, working diligently to address these discrepancies. Your analytical mindset allows you to investigate critical planning assumptions and make necessary adjustments to optimize delivery operations. You are comfortable working with various stakeholders to ensure that operational plans are executed smoothly and efficiently.

What you'll do

As a Last Mile Capacity Planning Specialist, you will monitor operational volumes and collaborate with AMZL teams to ensure that weekly and daily operational capacity plans are met. You will analyze capacity gaps and work with execution teams to eliminate them, optimizing delivery station volumes across the country. Your role will involve conducting analytical tasks to investigate deviations in critical planning assumptions, such as packages per route and average package size, and making revisions to improve overall capacity management.

You will be responsible for supporting the execution of daily capacity management activities, ensuring that operational plans align with business objectives. Your analytical skills will be crucial in providing insights that drive operational improvements and enhance customer satisfaction. You will work closely with transportation and fulfillment center teams to align delivery station capacity configurations nationwide, ensuring that all operational needs are met effectively.
