Who you are

You have experience in operations management, ideally within a logistics or fulfillment environment. You understand the importance of creating a safe working environment and are skilled at identifying safety opportunities across your work area. You have a knack for managing and training associates to deliver exceptional service to customers, ensuring that their orders are fulfilled in line with quality and safety guidelines. You are adaptable and can adjust labor allocation throughout your shifts to meet and exceed plans and forecasts. Your ability to engage with support functions and other departments helps address common issues or needs in key areas of performance, such as process area readiness and training. You are comfortable working a variety of hours, including overnight, weekends, and holidays, as business demands require.

What you'll do

In this role, you will oversee shift management in one of Amazon's fulfillment centers, sortation centers, or delivery stations. You will be responsible for creating and cultivating a safe working environment, managing your team of associates, and ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled efficiently and accurately. You will continuously provide critical shift-related information to front-line management and operators, helping to solve logistics and supply chain challenges through data analysis and process optimization. Your leadership will be key in driving operational excellence and achieving amazing results for customers. You will engage with various departments to ensure that all operational processes are running smoothly and effectively. You will also be expected to foster a positive team culture, encouraging collaboration and communication among your associates.
