Who you are

You hold an MD or PhD with hands-on clinical and medical research experience — your background equips you to navigate the complexities of health technology and AI integration. With 5-10 years of experience in the software development lifecycle, you've successfully contributed to product development and the implementation of novel technologies in clinical workflows.

Your familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts allows you to engage deeply with technical teams, ensuring that medical knowledge is appropriately embedded in AI capabilities. You have prior experience in either consumer or provider health tech, which gives you a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities in this space.

What you'll do

In this role, you will partner with applied scientists and engineering teams to embed appropriate medical knowledge in our AI capabilities. You will develop rubrics and guidelines for AI model system evaluation and benchmarking, ensuring that our systems meet the highest standards of clinical safety. Your proactive approach will help identify risks and shape the technical roadmap in anticipation of industry trends in Health AI.

You will work closely with teams across the health organization to ensure the safe deployment of AI systems and technology into workflows. Your efforts will raise clinical safety awareness of our technical systems, including AI systems, and you will play a crucial role in shaping our thinking on how to embed AI solutions into workflows.
