Who you are
You have extensive experience in UX design, particularly in leading complex design initiatives that bridge the gap between shopping and technology. Your ability to navigate cross-organizational projects and drive alignment across teams is a key strength. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable working at the highest organizational levels, representing design in executive meetings.
Your expertise includes designing premium and luxury shopping experiences, as well as integrating design systems into various projects. You are adept at solving complex customer problems and have a strong understanding of AI-driven customer experiences. Mentoring less experienced designers is something you enjoy, as you believe in fostering talent within your team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead design on high-priority initiatives across the North America Stores portfolio. You will collaborate closely with product teams, researchers, and engineers to deliver innovative solutions that impact millions of customers daily. Your responsibilities will include driving design excellence in various categories, including Fashion & Fitness and Premium experiences. You will also be involved in strategic projects that require quick transitions from concept to execution, ensuring that design aligns with business goals.
You will represent the design organization in executive meetings, articulating design strategies and advocating for user-centered solutions. Your role will require you to mentor junior designers, helping them grow their skills and contribute effectively to the team. You will also be expected to stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into your work, ensuring that Amazon remains at the forefront of design innovation.
What we offer
Amazon provides a competitive salary range of $164,000.00 - $221,800.00 USD annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave. You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment that values design excellence and innovation, contributing to projects that have a significant impact on the shopping experience for millions of customers.
