Who you are
You have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1+ years of experience working with computers and Microsoft Office products. You are flexible with your schedule, willing to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed. Your background includes 1+ years of experience in project management or construction, showcasing your ability to handle complex tasks effectively.
You possess strong analytical skills that enable you to dive deep into purchasing patterns and reconcile complex spending across business units. Your experience in vendor management allows you to build and maintain strategic relationships that are crucial for optimizing procurement processes.
What you'll do
In this role, you will design and implement strategic solutions for complex procurement challenges, ensuring that Amazon's transportation network operates efficiently. You will manage vendor relationships and external contractor interactions, developing comprehensive project plans to meet critical departmental goals. Your responsibilities will include ensuring rigorous accounting processes and accurate financial reporting, as well as coordinating purchase order management and cross-business unit spend reconciliation.
Your day-to-day will involve a dynamic blend of strategic problem-solving and collaborative vendor management. You will be the key catalyst for expanding Amazon's Middle Mile fleet capabilities, using your analytical skills to optimize spending and support the company's commitment to operational excellence.
What we offer
