Who you are
You have a proven track record in program management, ideally with experience in logistics or operations. You excel at strategic planning and execution, managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for identifying process optimization opportunities, driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.
Desirable
Experience in managing dark store operations or similar environments is a plus. Familiarity with supply chain management and operational excellence frameworks will set you apart. You are comfortable using project management tools and methodologies to track progress and deliver results.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own and manage the lifecycle of 2-3 medium-sized programs, driving them from conception to implementation. You will develop and execute project plans, securing necessary resources and managing implementation across various teams. Regular status checks with stakeholders will be part of your routine, ensuring that tasks, deliverables, deadlines, and milestones are met. You will make trade-offs to optimize timelines and deliverables, always in consultation with stakeholders. Your role will also involve partnering with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Procurement teams to align on program objectives and communicate goals clearly.
You will provide fortnightly updates to leadership on program progress, team readiness, challenges, and support requirements. Your ability to influence without authority will be crucial as you build trust and consensus across multiple teams. Identifying pain points within dark store operations and driving continuous improvement initiatives will be key responsibilities, ensuring that Amazon Now maintains its commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
