Who you are

You have a strong background in program management, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a technical environment. Your analytical skills are top-notch, allowing you to derive insights and develop solutions that drive operational excellence. You thrive in collaborative settings, working effectively with diverse teams to achieve common goals. Your communication skills are exceptional, enabling you to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels.

You are comfortable working in fast-paced environments and can manage multiple competing priorities without losing focus. Your experience includes creating funding request narratives that clearly articulate how requested resources will support customer needs. You have a proven track record of leading cross-functional projects and driving process improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Desirable

Experience in the cloud infrastructure domain is a plus, as is familiarity with data center operations. You may also have a background in construction project management or energy management, which would further enhance your ability to contribute to the team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead programs that drive operational excellence across AWS's data center planning and delivery initiatives. You will collaborate with a talented team of Technical Infrastructure Program Managers, Business Development executives, and Construction Program Managers to ensure that data center capacity is delivered efficiently and effectively. Your responsibilities will include assembling business reports and capacity plans that align with customer needs and operational goals.

You will be responsible for creating and managing project timelines, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle. Your role will involve identifying areas for process improvement and implementing strategies to enhance team collaboration and communication. You will also have the opportunity to build new programs from the ground up and scale existing initiatives to meet the growing demands of AWS's infrastructure.
