Who you are
You have a strong background in quality assurance, particularly in embedded systems, and are familiar with both black and gray box testing methodologies. Your experience includes working closely with multi-functional teams to validate software releases and ensure a seamless customer experience. You are proficient in Python and have a solid understanding of embedded Linux environments, which allows you to contribute effectively to automation frameworks and testing processes.
You thrive in collaborative settings and enjoy debugging complex issues that arise during the testing phase. Your attention to detail ensures that you can identify potential problems before they affect the end user. You are also comfortable providing cross-functional test support and developing ad hoc tests to assist engineering teams in their debugging efforts.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for executing test plans and conducting thorough testing on driver and userspace embedded software. You will work closely with hardware and software teams to ensure that new products meet quality standards before they are released to customers. Your contributions will help shape the future of eero's innovative networking solutions, as you validate software releases and enhance the overall user experience.
You will also have the opportunity to expand the existing Python automation framework, increasing test coverage and improving efficiency in the QA process. Your role will involve writing and executing test plans, as well as providing additional support for new hardware testing initiatives. You will be a key player in ensuring that eero's products maintain their reputation for reliability and performance.
