Who you are
You have a strong background in WiFi testing and validation, with experience in developing test plans and executing WiFi test cases. Your ability to collaborate with development teams allows you to identify and troubleshoot issues effectively, ensuring a seamless connectivity experience for customers. You are detail-oriented and capable of writing comprehensive bug reports that guide engineering teams in improving product quality.
You understand the importance of regulatory compliance and have experience reviewing specifications for FCC/ETSI tests. Your skills in automation support your testing efforts, allowing you to drive improvements in testing processes and methodologies. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to the mission of reinventing WiFi.
What you'll do
As a WiFi Test Engineer at eero, you will be responsible for developing and executing test plans for our whole home WiFi products. You will define and implement WiFi test cases, supporting automation to enhance testing efficiency. Your role will involve driving decisions about testing improvements and managing projects from start to finish, guiding team members along the way.
You will interface with software, technical program managers, vendors, and management teams to ensure that testing efforts align with product goals. Reporting test results and planning status updates will be key aspects of your responsibilities, as will writing detailed bug reports for the engineering team. You will support distributed development and QA teams, contributing to the overall quality and reliability of eero's products.
