Job Description
Who you are
You are pursuing a Master's degree or higher in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics, or a related field. You possess a strong understanding of the principles and basic structures of measuring instruments such as HALT, chambers, oscilloscopes, and multimeters. You are fluent in Mandarin, enabling effective communication with teams in both the US and China. You are responsive, flexible, and thrive in an open collaborative peer environment, ready to contribute to the development and implementation of methodologies that enhance product reliability.
Desirable
Experience with reliability testing methodologies and a keen interest in product integrity will set you apart. Familiarity with cross-functional teamwork and the ability to adapt to various project requirements will be beneficial in this role.
What you'll do
As a Reliability Engineer Intern at Amazon, you will participate in creating reliability test plans, including resource allocations and validation schedules. You will assist in implementing specific validation items in reliability test plans, ensuring that schedules are met. Working closely with a senior reliability engineer, you will report on reliability execution progress and address any issues that arise. You will also evaluate and develop reliability test methodologies aimed at reducing test time and increasing test coverage. This role may require domestic travel to supplier sites as projects demand, providing you with hands-on experience in the field.
