What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for understanding and contributing to the development of Gen AI models optimized for edge platforms. You will work closely with senior researchers to apply model compression techniques and enhance the performance of these models using Amazon's Neural Edge Engine. Your work will involve studying and applying first principles of Information Theory and Scientific Computing to tackle complex model optimization problems.

You will assist in research projects focused on custom Gen AI model development, aiming to improve state-of-the-art results under mentorship. Collaboration will be key as you engage with compiler engineers, applied scientists, and hardware architects to learn about production ML systems. You will also participate in reading groups and research discussions, building your expertise in efficient AI and contributing to the team's knowledge base.
