Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in data analysis and visualization, with experience in leveraging large data sets to derive actionable insights. Your expertise in machine learning allows you to design systems that can identify and prevent fraudulent activities effectively. You are results-oriented and have a keen eye for detecting anomalies that could harm genuine customers. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product managers, scientists, and engineers to drive product strategy and improve account integrity.
You possess excellent problem-solving skills and can conduct thorough root cause analyses of changing bad actor behaviors. Your ability to maintain and improve data sets, pipelines, and reporting is crucial for tracking and managing important KPIs in the Account Integrity space. You are comfortable deploying rules that prevent bad actors from gaining access to platforms, ensuring a secure environment for users.
Desirable
Experience in fraud prevention or risk management is a plus, as is familiarity with automated deployment processes. You are adaptable and can quickly learn new technologies and methodologies relevant to risk analysis and data mining.
What you'll do
As a Risk Analyst in the Account Integrity team, you will analyze customer trends to identify patterns and develop attributes that articulate those patterns. Your work will involve incorporating these attributes into static rules for automated deployment in the account creation pipeline. You will apply your quantitative analysis skills to design alarm systems that guide product strategy and ensure the best results for customers.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high-performance software systems that utilize machine learning for fraud detection. Your role will require you to drive root cause analysis and continuously improve the systems in place to combat fraudulent activities. You will also be responsible for tracking and managing KPIs, ensuring that the team meets its goals effectively.
