Who you are
You have a strong background in safety management, particularly in road transportation and delivery. Your experience includes developing and implementing safety protocols and risk assessments to ensure safe operations. You excel in building collaborative relationships with internal and external partners, demonstrating your ability to lead safety initiatives effectively.
You possess a deep understanding of safety regulations and best practices in logistics. Your skills extend beyond theoretical knowledge, as you have hands-on experience in executing safety measures in the field. You are proactive in identifying risks and implementing corrective actions to enhance safety standards.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the safety efforts for Amazon Logistics in Japan, focusing on road transportation and delivery. You will create and implement annual safe transportation management plans, conduct risk assessments, and provide driver training to ensure compliance with safety standards. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with various departments to detect risks related to natural disasters and operations during road transport.
You will also be responsible for promoting health and safety activities across the logistics network, ensuring that all employees can perform their duties safely. By standardizing safety practices, you will deploy more effective methods throughout the domestic and international network, elevating overall safety levels.
