Experience with OWASP principles and methodologies is a plus, as is familiarity with automated threat emulation solutions. Your judgment in making technical trade-offs between security and business goals is exemplary, ensuring that both short-term and long-term objectives are met.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead offensive security campaigns, conducting thorough penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities in AWS systems and processes. You will collaborate with various teams to integrate offensive security insights into their development and deployment processes, enhancing overall security posture. Your responsibilities will include creating and maintaining automated threat emulation solutions that simulate real-world attack scenarios, allowing teams to proactively address potential threats. You will also conduct security reviews of large Amazon projects, setting standards and defining best practices for the AWS IT Security team. Your leadership will be crucial in mentoring junior security engineers and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in security practices across the organization.
