You are an experienced corporate security leader with a strong understanding of security operations and risk management. You possess excellent communication skills and can effectively collaborate with local business leadership to address security concerns and implement best practices.

You have experience conducting security assessments and ensuring compliance with security standards. Your ability to manage incidents and support crisis response is critical in maintaining a secure environment. You are proactive in identifying gaps in security controls and developing plans to mitigate risks, demonstrating your commitment to continuous improvement in security practices.

What you'll do

As the Area Security Manager, you will oversee the implementation of the Corporate Security program at Amazon Leo locations. You will deliver best-in-class security services focused on enhancing the safety and security of all Amazon employees, contractors, and visitors. Your role will involve conducting security assessments, managing incidents, and providing consultancy to local business leadership. You will develop and manage guarding and access control programs, ensuring that all sites meet or exceed requisite security standards.

You will work closely with the Amazon Leo Physical Security Sr. Manager – Global to ensure the effective delivery of security operations across multiple sites. Your responsibilities will include developing security plans, conducting training for security personnel, and collaborating with various teams to address security challenges in a highly ambiguous and dynamically fluid environment. You will also be responsible for reporting on security metrics and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
