What you'll do
In this role, you will lead technical initiatives in whole-body control and locomotion, driving breakthrough approaches through hands-on research and development. You will design and implement novel reinforcement learning architectures and training paradigms that enable robots to perform complex tasks across diverse scenarios. Your work will involve developing sim-to-real transfer techniques that ensure policies trained in simulation perform reliably on physical hardware.
You will guide the technical direction for locomotion and control projects from research through deployment, ensuring robust performance in real-world environments. Collaboration with navigation, manipulation, and other teams will be key as you work to pioneer intelligent robotic products that deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will leverage Amazon's computational resources and robotics infrastructure to tackle ambitious robotics problems, contributing to the advancement of the Personal Robotics Group.
What we offer
Amazon provides a competitive salary range of $192,200.00 - $260,000.00 annually, along with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
