Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in automation engineering, particularly in high-level support for control systems. Your background includes direct field engagement for commissioning and ongoing support of robotics and material handling equipment. You are skilled in structured problem solving and data analytics, which you leverage to drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency.
You possess a strong understanding of project management principles and have experience implementing global support mechanisms. Your ability to develop and implement standard operating procedures and performance metrics ensures the reliability of equipment in a fast-paced environment. You are also adept at training others and disseminating best practices across teams.
What you'll do
As a Senior Regional Automation Engineer, you will engage in all aspects of high-level support for control systems within Amazon's regional sites. This includes direct field engagement for both launch and existing facilities, where you will be responsible for commissioning and on-call support. You will utilize statistics and data analytics to monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
Your role will involve developing optimal code and parameter sets, as well as implementing feedback mechanisms to enhance operational efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all robotics and material handling equipment operates reliably and meets the high standards expected by Amazon customers.
