Who you are

You have a strong background in automation engineering with a focus on maximizing equipment reliability and operational performance. Your experience includes troubleshooting complex control systems and analyzing performance metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives. You enjoy mentoring junior engineers and leading cross-functional teams to optimize material handling equipment systems. Your technical expertise allows you to implement innovative projects and develop system design improvements that enhance site throughput.

You are familiar with state-of-the-art technology, including conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, print and apply systems, and SCADA devices and programs. You thrive in environments where you can contribute to operational excellence and ensure that customers receive their orders with speed and accuracy. You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys working collaboratively with others to achieve common goals.

What you'll do

In this role, you will play a crucial part in the Reliability & Maintenance Engineering (RME) team at Amazon. Your primary responsibility will be to provide proactive controls automation and technical support to maximize equipment reliability in fulfillment centers. You will analyze performance metrics and lead initiatives aimed at continuous improvement, ensuring that all robotics and material handling equipment operate at peak efficiency.

You will mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles. Leading cross-functional teams, you will work on optimizing material handling equipment systems and implementing innovative projects that enhance throughput. Your contributions will directly impact the operational performance of the fulfillment centers, ensuring that Amazon maintains its reputation for speed and accuracy in delivering products to customers.
