Who you are

You have a strong background in automation engineering with a focus on maximizing equipment reliability and operational performance. Your experience includes troubleshooting complex control systems and analyzing performance metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives. You enjoy mentoring junior engineers and leading cross-functional teams to optimize material handling equipment (MHE) systems. Your technical expertise allows you to implement innovative projects and develop system design improvements that enhance site throughput.

You are familiar with state-of-the-art technology, including conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, print and apply systems, and SCADA devices and programs. You understand the importance of operational excellence and are committed to ensuring that customers receive their orders with Amazon's signature speed and accuracy. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to team capabilities.

What you'll do

In this role, you will play a crucial part in the Reliability & Maintenance Engineering (RME) team, working behind the scenes to ensure the smooth operation of Amazon's fulfillment centers. You will provide proactive controls automation and technical support to maximize equipment reliability. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting complex control systems and analyzing performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

You will lead cross-functional teams to optimize material handling equipment (MHE) systems and implement innovative projects that enhance operational performance. Your role will also involve mentoring junior engineers, helping them develop their skills and knowledge in automation engineering. You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives that contribute to the overall efficiency of the fulfillment centers.
