Desirable

Experience in logistics or warehouse operations is a plus, as is familiarity with safety management systems. A background in project management can also be beneficial, as you will be involved in managing safety improvement projects across multiple sites.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing safety protocols at Sort Centers in Germany, ensuring compliance with local and international safety regulations. You will work closely with regional teams to implement safety initiatives and monitor their effectiveness. Your role will involve conducting safety audits and risk assessments, identifying areas for improvement, and developing action plans to address any issues. You will also provide training and support to employees on safety practices, fostering a culture of safety within the organization. Collaboration with stakeholders in operations, transportation, and third-party vendors will be essential to ensure that safety standards are consistently met across all locations. You will report directly to the Regional Manager based in the UK, providing updates on safety performance and initiatives.
