What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the safety and health of employees at Amazon's Sort Centers in Germany. You will implement and monitor safety protocols, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards. Your proactive approach will involve conducting safety audits, identifying potential hazards, and collaborating with teams to develop effective solutions.

You will work closely with regional teams to ensure that safety standards are consistently upheld across all Sort Centers. This includes managing improvement projects aimed at reducing risks and enhancing workplace safety. Your role will require you to engage with various stakeholders, including operations and transport teams, to foster a culture of safety and well-being.

Additionally, you will report directly to the regional manager based in the UK, providing updates on safety initiatives and compliance status. Your ability to communicate effectively in English will be crucial for this aspect of the role. You will also participate in training sessions to educate employees on safety practices and protocols, ensuring that everyone is equipped to contribute to a safe working environment.
