Who you are
You have 3+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field, and you understand the intricacies of financial metrics and reporting. Your background includes 4+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable, where you've developed a keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial processes. You are skilled in applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses, allowing you to provide valuable insights that drive operational decisions. You have a proven track record of creating process improvements through automation and analysis, demonstrating your ability to enhance efficiency in financial operations.
Your experience includes 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance or business tools and processes. You hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, or business, or possess a Bachelor's degree along with 5+ years of relevant experience. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with stakeholders to drive cost-saving initiatives and operational improvements.
What you'll do
In this role, you will build financial analysis models that drive operational decisions across the Amazon network. You will work closely with stakeholders on cost-out initiatives, ensuring that financial metrics align with business objectives. Your responsibilities will include managing the annual budgeting process and making necessary revisions to reflect changing business needs. You will automate existing models and tools to contribute to the scale-up of the Fulfillment Center Network, enhancing operational efficiency.
You will evaluate and improve methodologies that are core to our business models and tools, collaborating with operations personnel to drive process and productivity improvements. Your role will also involve managing the weekly, monthly, and quarterly results reporting, ensuring that key partner business groups are informed and engaged in financial review meetings. Your analytical skills will be crucial in providing decision support through data analysis and business insights, ultimately helping Amazon achieve its operational goals.
