You have 5+ years of experience in product design, particularly in creating user-centered designs for hardware and software products. Your portfolio showcases your ability to blend UX design, visual design, and industrial design, demonstrating a holistic approach to product development. You are skilled in storytelling and can effectively communicate design strategies to diverse stakeholders, helping them envision future possibilities. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative concepts to life.

You possess a strong proficiency in design tools, particularly Figma, and have experience in prototyping and creating high-fidelity interactive experiences. Your background includes working on products that leverage various interaction modes, such as voice, touch, and gesture, and you understand the nuances of designing for different device capabilities. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and can create clarity from complex design challenges, making informed trade-offs to achieve the best user experience.

What you'll do

As a Senior Product Designer at Amazon, you will lead the design efforts for the Devices & Services Experience Design team, focusing on the Echo Family of Devices and related services. You will be responsible for innovating end-to-end product concepts, starting from ideation to execution, ensuring that designs are not only visually appealing but also functional and user-friendly. You will collaborate with engineers and product managers to integrate your designs seamlessly into the device ecosystem, enhancing the overall user experience.

You will participate in brainstorming sessions and design critiques, providing constructive feedback to your peers while also being open to receiving feedback on your work. Your role will involve creating detailed design specifications and prototypes that communicate your vision clearly to the development teams. You will also engage in user research to gather insights that inform your design decisions, ensuring that the products you design meet the needs and expectations of Amazon's customers.
