You'll work closely with Applied Scientists and Data Engineers to transform forecasting processes through automation and validation. This role requires a strong background in AI and product management.

Job Description

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in product management, particularly in AI and machine learning domains — you've successfully translated scientific research into production-ready products and understand the intricacies of machine learning systems. Your deep curiosity about AI capabilities drives you to build solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.

You possess strong collaboration skills, having partnered with cross-functional teams including Applied Scientists and Data Engineers — you thrive in environments where you can lead product vision and strategy while ensuring alignment with technical teams. Your ability to communicate complex ideas clearly makes you an effective liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Your experience includes owning product roadmaps and defining user experiences for critical workflows — you understand the importance of user-centric design and have a track record of implementing AI-driven automation to enhance operational efficiency. You are passionate about leveraging technology to improve business processes and outcomes.

Desirable

Experience with forecasting models and input management systems is a plus — familiarity with AI-driven recommendations and automation will set you apart. A background in data analysis and performance metrics will help you excel in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the product vision for AI/ML-powered forecasting products within Amazon's Demand Science Optimization team — you will lead three critical product areas, including Science Roadmap & Model Improvements, AI-Powered Input Management, and AI-powered forecast analytics. Your responsibilities will include defining how AI agents automate manual forecasting workflows and establishing mechanisms for input refresh that enable rapid response to changes.

You will collaborate closely with Applied Scientists to productize machine learning research, ensuring that model improvements are effectively integrated into the product — your work will directly contribute to cash flow improvements through enhanced forecast accuracy and responsiveness. You will also build ML-based validation frameworks to ensure data quality at scale, which is crucial for maintaining the integrity of forecasting processes.

Your role will involve defining user experiences and workflows for critical forecasting inputs, such as pricing and product launch dates — you will build AI-powered recommendations to automate manual processes, streamlining operations and enhancing productivity. You will also be responsible for tracking performance metrics and analyzing the impact of your product initiatives on business outcomes.

What we offer

Amazon provides a competitive salary range of $151,200.00 - $204,600.00 USD annually, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and generous paid time off. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that fosters innovation and collaboration, contributing to projects that have a significant impact on the business.
