Overview

Amazon is hiring a Principal Product Manager to lead the Devices Forecasting team within Demand Science Optimization. You'll define the product strategy for forecast coverage expansion and drive improvements through AI/ML systems. This role requires deep technical expertise and experience in supply chain systems.

Job Description

Who you are

You have extensive experience in product management, particularly in technical roles, and a strong background in AI and machine learning systems. Your ability to navigate complex cross-organizational initiatives has led to meaningful business impacts in previous roles. You thrive in high-autonomy environments and are comfortable with ambiguity, making you well-suited for this high-visibility position.

Your expertise in supply chain systems or AI/ML products allows you to define and execute multi-year product strategies effectively. You possess strong partnership skills, particularly in collaborating with science and engineering teams, ensuring that product requirements align with technical capabilities and business goals.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the product vision and execution roadmap for forecast coverage expansion and offline channel forecasting. You will define the strategy to achieve 100% device portfolio coverage, focusing on onboarding new product lines to the forecasting platform. Your responsibilities will include driving accuracy improvements through retailer data integration and channel-specific modeling, as well as leading the operationalization of newly covered device families.

You will influence product direction across various teams, including Forecasting, Planning Tools, Inputs, Data Engineering, and Applied Science. Your leadership will be crucial in establishing scalable onboarding frameworks that reduce time-to-coverage for new devices. You will also be responsible for defining end-to-end product requirements and ensuring that the product strategy aligns with the overall business objectives.

What we offer

Amazon provides a competitive salary range of $179,900.00 - $243,400.00 USD annually, along with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your contributions directly impact the company's success and growth. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
