Who you are

You are an experienced Security Engineer with a strong background in designing and implementing security frameworks. With at least 5 years of experience in security architecture, you have a proven track record of building detection systems and automation platforms that enhance security measures for customer support teams. You possess deep knowledge of compliance standards such as CCPA and GDPR, and you are adept at creating automated compliance tracking systems that provide real-time visibility.

You have a collaborative mindset and enjoy leading cross-organizational security initiatives. Your ability to partner with various teams, including AppSec and Product Security, allows you to drive consensus and mentor other security engineers effectively. You thrive in ambiguous situations and are skilled at establishing security strategies from the ground up, ensuring that customer needs are met while maintaining robust security protocols.

Desirable

Experience with AI-powered solutions for risk scoring and automated threat detection is a plus. Familiarity with incident response and insider threat management will further enhance your ability to contribute to the security landscape at Amazon.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the design and architecture of security solutions that protect millions of Ring and Blink customers. You will be responsible for building Splunk-based security detections and monitoring dashboards, as well as developing investigative tools that enhance the security posture of customer support operations. Your expertise will be crucial in architecting unified security intelligence platforms that consolidate insights from various security domains.

You will also lead security review processes, establishing streamlined pathways for application security assessments. By collaborating with engineering teams, you will ensure that technology projects meet security standards and compliance requirements. Your leadership will help shape the security culture within the organization, as you mentor and guide security engineers across different teams.
