Who you are
You have extensive experience in penetration testing, particularly in identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities across complex service workflows. Your expertise includes working with authentication mechanisms, AI technologies, mobile applications, and web service APIs. You are skilled in automating security processes and improving testing methodologies through innovative techniques such as AI and fuzzing.
You possess a strong understanding of security reviews and offensive testing, with a proven track record of conducting vulnerability assessments and providing actionable remediation guidance. Your ability to collaborate with builder teams and product owners ensures that security is integrated into the design and release processes effectively.
What you'll do
As a Senior Pentest Security Engineer, you will lead penetration testing efforts across Amazon's diverse portfolio, which includes consumer services and devices as well as advanced technologies like the Kuiper satellites. You will conduct in-depth reviews of service workflows, identifying high-impact security vulnerabilities and working closely with teams to address them.
Your role will involve inventing new ways to automate and enhance penetration testing processes, leveraging AI and other advanced techniques to improve detection capabilities at scale. You will also be responsible for driving down costs by building foundational security capabilities that can be integrated across various product lines.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security measures are not only effective but also seamlessly integrated into the development lifecycle. Your contributions will help raise the security bar across Amazon's Devices & Services, protecting customer trust and data.
What we offer
Amazon provides a competitive salary range of $136,000.00 - $184,000.00 USD annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health and wellness programs, retirement plans, and paid time off.
