Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in product management, particularly in technical roles, where you've successfully influenced stakeholders across various teams. Your background includes a strong understanding of supply chain dynamics and forecasting methodologies, enabling you to drive product vision effectively.
You possess a deep knowledge of data-driven decision-making and are comfortable working with large datasets, utilizing tools like SQL to extract insights that inform product strategies. Your ability to collaborate with engineering and science teams is critical, as you will be working closely with diverse groups to innovate and enhance forecasting products.
You are adept at marrying technical projects with process improvements, ensuring that product launches are not only innovative but also aligned with business goals. Your experience includes developing strategies that leverage foundational models and large language models (LLMs) to enhance product capabilities.
You thrive in environments that require cross-functional collaboration and have a proven track record of building trust with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your communication skills allow you to articulate complex ideas clearly, making you an effective advocate for your product vision.
Desirable

What you'll do
In this role, you will create and drive the long-term product vision for Amazon's SCOT Forecasting team, focusing on both established use cases and new forecasting products. You will be responsible for optimizing the demand forecasting process, which is crucial for managing inventory and labor plans across hundreds of warehouses.
You will collaborate with product leaders, scientists, and software engineers to develop innovative solutions that enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency. Your work will involve defining product requirements, conducting user research, and prioritizing features that align with customer needs and business objectives.
You will lead initiatives to experiment and launch new products, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to improve forecasting capabilities. Your ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights will be key to driving product success and ensuring that Amazon continues to meet customer demands effectively.
What we offer
Amazon provides a competitive salary range of CAD 128,100.00 - 214,000.00 annually, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
