Who you are

You are an experienced engineer with a strong background in software development and architecture, driven to solve complex technical problems that impact hundreds of developers at scale. You have a passion for creating platforms that fundamentally transform how engineering teams design, build, and deliver software. Your technical leadership skills enable you to mentor junior engineers and guide them through design reviews and best practices.

You possess deep expertise in designing scalable systems for developer productivity tools, dashboards, and automation platforms. You are adept at driving technical decisions and establishing best practices for your team's codebase and infrastructure. Your collaborative nature allows you to partner effectively with Principal Engineers to tackle complex technical challenges and align on architectural approaches.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead high-impact technical initiatives aimed at removing developer friction and streamlining workflows. You will create automation solutions that measurably reduce toil and improve developer workflows, ensuring that your solutions are scalable, maintainable, and operationally excellent. You will design APIs and frameworks that other teams can leverage to build their own productivity solutions, enhancing the overall developer experience.

You will collaborate with development teams across the organization to deeply understand their pain points and requirements, ensuring that your solutions meet their needs. Your responsibilities will include mentoring SDE 1s and SDE 2s, conducting design reviews, and providing technical guidance to foster a culture of excellence within the team.
