Who you are
You have extensive experience as a Workday Application Architect, particularly in Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions. Your technical leadership skills enable you to design and deliver effective solutions across various HR applications, ensuring they meet business needs. You are adept at managing solution design and delivery for Workday HCM modules, including Human Resources, Recruiting, Talent Management, Benefits, Compensation, Performance Enablement, and Payroll.
You possess a strong understanding of architecture reviews and can translate technology strategies into actionable technical requirements. Your collaborative nature allows you to work effectively with Enterprise Solution Architects, Product Owners, and Business Systems Analysts to create and approve Low-Level Designs. You are skilled in designing and architecting Workday integrations and configurations, ensuring that solutions are optimized for performance and quality.
Your experience includes managing technical planning, development, and troubleshooting of integrations with third-party HR systems. You are proficient in assessing complexity, risk, and dependencies for HCM projects, which aids in accurate effort estimation. You have a keen eye for detail and ensure proper transition handoff for new implementations, contributing to the overall success of the projects you lead.
Desirable
Experience with additional HR applications and a strong background in project management will set you apart. Familiarity with various HR technologies and a proactive approach to problem-solving are highly valued in this role.
What you'll do
As a Senior Workday Application Architect, you will serve as the technical lead for Workday HCM solution design and delivery across multiple modules. You will participate in architecture reviews to ensure that systems are optimized and of high quality. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to translate high-level designs into detailed technical requirements, ensuring that all solutions align with business objectives.
You will design and architect integrations and configurations within the Workday platform, ensuring that they effectively meet the needs of the organization. Your responsibilities will also include managing the technical planning and development of integrations with third-party HR systems, troubleshooting any issues that arise during the process.
In addition, you will assist with effort estimation for HCM projects by evaluating complexity, risk, and dependencies. You will coordinate project design and support system configuration, ensuring a smooth transition for new implementations. Your expertise will be crucial in evaluating the HR applications portfolio and recommending improvements to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
