Onsite Medical Representative

Who you are

You are an experienced Onsite Medical Representative who is dedicated to promoting health and safety in the workplace. You have a strong understanding of OSHA regulations and are passionate about advocating for the wellbeing of employees. Your ability to assess and administer first aid independently is complemented by your skills in guiding associates on both occupational and non-occupational injuries or illnesses. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with the WHS Site Manager and other specialists to ensure a safe workplace.

You enjoy engaging with new hires and are proactive in your approach to health and wellness. Your experience includes attending safety committee meetings and participating in case management reviews, demonstrating your commitment to continuous improvement in workplace safety. You are eager to learn and adapt to the evolving needs of the workforce, ensuring that all associates feel supported and cared for.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for providing first aid support to Amazon associates and making referrals to outside medical providers as necessary. You will play a key role in the WHS team by attending weekly meetings and collaborating with other health and safety professionals. Your responsibilities will include assessing injuries, administering first aid, and offering guidance on health and wellness principles. You will also assist with safety operations and contribute to creating a culture of safety excellence at Amazon.

You will be involved in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they understand the health and safety protocols in place. Your role will require you to stay updated on OSHA regulations and best practices in workplace health and safety. You will work closely with the WHS Site Manager and other team members to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the safety of the work environment. Your contributions will directly impact the health and wellbeing of your colleagues, making a meaningful difference in their daily work lives.
