What you'll do

As a Lead Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable applications and services that enhance the Audible experience for millions of users. You will lead a team of developers, guiding them through the software development lifecycle while ensuring adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment. Your role will involve collaborating closely with product managers and UX designers to translate user needs into technical specifications and deliver impactful features.

You will also be tasked with optimizing existing systems and identifying opportunities for innovation within the Audible platform. This includes conducting code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within your team. You will play a key role in shaping the technical direction of projects and ensuring that your team meets project deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
