Who you are

You have a strong background in software development, particularly in C++, and have experience building AI and machine learning tools. Your expertise includes performance analysis and optimization, allowing you to identify and resolve bottlenecks in complex systems. You are familiar with AWS services and understand how to leverage them for machine learning applications. Your experience with ML-specific profiler tools, such as PyTorch Profiler or TensorFlow Profiler, sets you apart as a candidate. You possess excellent collaboration skills, enabling you to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What you'll do

As a Software Development Engineer on the Neuron Foundation Tools Team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of the Neuron Profiler and other tools that enhance the performance of machine learning workloads. You will manage the full development life cycle of the toolchain, ensuring it is scalable, reliable, and user-friendly. Your role will involve collaborating with engineers to optimize the performance of ML kernels and frameworks across various hardware platforms, including Trainium and Inferentia devices. You will drive innovations that allow the profiler to support multiple frameworks, such as PyTorch, JAX, and XLA, ensuring that our customers can effectively optimize their AI workloads. Your contributions will be crucial in providing deep insights into system behavior and performance, ultimately enhancing the user experience for internal and external customers.
