Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in software development and team leadership, particularly in AI and robotics. Your technical expertise includes machine learning and reinforcement learning, and you are comfortable working with large-scale systems and complex algorithms. You have a strong background in Python and are familiar with AWS infrastructure, enabling you to leverage cloud resources effectively.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with AI researchers and engineers. You are passionate about advancing robotics technology and have a proven track record of delivering impactful projects in dynamic environments. You thrive in leadership roles, guiding teams to achieve ambitious goals while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the ML infrastructure team to create model training and simulation environments for developing large robotics foundational models. You will work closely with AI researchers to implement and optimize training of new model architectures at scale. Your responsibilities include defining the roadmap for building physics realistic simulation environments for reinforcement learning and synthetic data generation.
You will implement tooling for data creation, model experimentation, and continuous integration, ensuring that your team has the best resources to develop robust AI solutions. You will also be responsible for mentoring team members, promoting best practices in software development, and driving the technical direction of projects.
