What you'll do

As a Software Development Engineer II on the Security Platform team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating critical services that support Twitch's security initiatives. You will work on projects that involve handling large-scale security telemetry, automating security workflows, and providing reliable data and services to internal teams. Your role will require you to take ownership of projects from design through implementation and deployment, ensuring that security measures are integrated into the software development lifecycle.

You will collaborate closely with other engineers and product teams to identify real-world security problems and develop effective software solutions. This includes writing clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews to uphold high standards of quality. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise in production systems, ensuring that services remain operational and secure.
