You are familiar with automated dispensing systems and have experience handling specialized medications, including refrigerated and bulk items. You are comfortable working with technology and can efficiently package and prepare prescriptions for shipment or site injection. Your ability to split time effectively between verification and fulfillment duties based on operational needs is a key strength that enhances the efficiency of pharmacy operations.

What you'll do

As an Overnight Staff Pharmacist at Amazon Pharmacy, you will perform clinical data reviews and verify prescriptions to ensure compliance with all regulations. You will manage the end-to-end prescription fulfillment process, utilizing automated systems like Parata Max2 for dispensing medications. Your role will involve packaging and preparing prescriptions for shipment, ensuring that all medications, including specialized items, are handled with care and precision.

You will maintain strict quality standards and safety protocols while meeting Critical Pull Times (CPT) and production targets. Your responsibilities will also include conducting virtual patient consultations, providing guidance and support to customers regarding their medications. You will collaborate with a team to create programs and products that enhance the customer experience and embody Amazon's mission of making healthcare more accessible.
