Overview

Amazon is hiring a Supply Chain Manager for their Capacity Planning team in Bellevue, Washington. Who you are

You have a strong background in supply chain management and engineering, with a focus on capacity planning. Your analytical thinking skills allow you to understand complex data and dive deep into various information sources. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with technical engineers and program managers to define and deliver effective solutions. Your experience includes regular interaction with senior management, where you communicate plans, insights, and risks effectively.

You are adept at generating internal project schedules for retrofits and new fulfillment center launches, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed. Your ability to partner closely with project management offices enables you to influence both internal and external stakeholders to meet project milestones. You are committed to continuous improvement, developing reporting mechanisms to review lessons learned from projects with key stakeholders.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for driving collaboration across various teams, including Supply Chain Optimization Technology, Global Engineering Services, and Operations. You will generate and manage project schedules for all retrofits and new fulfillment center launches over a three-year horizon. Regular reporting to supply chain leadership on project status, including risks and opportunities, will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will partner closely with the Global Engineering Services PMO to deep dive into schedules and influence stakeholders to deliver on project milestones.

Your role will also involve developing reporting systems to review lessons learned from projects, ensuring that continuous improvement is at the forefront of your work. You will support design and process improvements for the Canada Customer Fulfillment network, collaborating with various teams to enhance operational efficiency. Your ability to communicate effectively with senior management will be crucial in conveying plans and insights, as well as identifying potential risks and opportunities.
