What you'll do
As a System Development Engineer I, you will enable the movement of critical Amazon data, allowing business service workloads to operate in regions of their choice. You will work on the end-state architecture that breaks region coupling while retaining the ability to keep critical business functions within a region. Your contributions will improve customer latency through local affinity to compute resources and reduce the blast radius in case of region failures.
You will be responsible for building tools and maintaining infrastructure that supports the Transactional Storage and Config team. Engaging with stakeholders, you will help create solutions that enhance system efficiency and reliability. You will also participate in initiatives aimed at improving the overall customer experience by ensuring that systems are robust and capable of handling outages effectively.
