Who you are
You have a strong background in systems engineering with a focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM) — your experience includes managing and configuring roles and permissions in Azure AD and Amazon's Identity Center. You are familiar with Microsoft Entra ID and have a proven track record of diagnosing and resolving production issues effectively.
Your technical skills include proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java — you have developed monitoring solutions and performed software maintenance that ensures high-quality results. You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside experienced engineers to drive product vision and system design.
You understand the importance of secure configurations and have hands-on experience with AWS technologies — your ability to influence and lead design discussions makes you a valuable team member. You are detail-oriented and committed to delivering exceptional customer service through automated solutions.
Desirable
Experience with Microsoft DSC, Graph API, and SCIM is a plus — familiarity with additional IAM tools like Purview and Defender will enhance your contributions. You are eager to learn and adapt to new technologies, continuously seeking ways to improve processes and systems.
What you'll do
As a Systems Development Engineer II at Amazon, you will collaborate with a team of software engineers to enhance our technology stack and maintain critical services. Your primary responsibilities will include managing the IAM infrastructure, ensuring secure configurations, and driving feature implementations in the Entra ID tenant.
You will be tasked with diagnosing production issues and developing monitoring solutions for IAM services — your role will involve performing software maintenance and configuration to ensure optimal performance. You will also implement fixes for internally developed code, leveraging your expertise in Python and Java to debug and execute persistence solutions.
