Overview

Amazon is seeking a Team Lead for their transportation team to oversee shift operations at delivery centers. You'll support the DC manager in performance management and operational planning. This role requires strong execution skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in operations management, demonstrating strong execution skills and a resourceful approach to problem-solving. You thrive in high-pressure situations and can work independently while managing station operations effectively. Your analytical skills allow you to interpret information and identify key facts, ensuring that you can validate alternatives and assess associated risks. You are comfortable working in ambiguous situations and can devise solutions tailored to the challenges you face. Your ability to interact with multiple stakeholders and drive results is a key asset in your role.

What you'll do

As a Team Lead at Amazon, you will be responsible for overseeing shift operations at our delivery centers, ensuring the smooth functioning of operations in collaboration with the Center manager. You will execute the delivery process from the delivery station to customer addresses, ensuring that your team is adequately prepared for peak delivery times. Continuous improvement of the delivery process will be a priority, as you strive to achieve sustained levels of delivery performance improvement. You will regularly interact with various stakeholders to ensure that operations run efficiently and effectively, showcasing ownership and accountability in your role.
