Your experience with AWS or similar cloud infrastructure is a significant asset — you understand the intricacies of data center operations and the importance of maintaining continual access to services. You are comfortable working with diverse teams and can adapt to the fast-paced nature of the cloud industry.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for developing the strategy for growth in key locations for interconnect capacity — this involves analyzing market trends and identifying opportunities for expansion. You will collaborate with various teams across AWS to ensure that the infrastructure meets the highest standards of performance and reliability.
You will lead initiatives that focus on optimizing the supply chain for AWS data centers, working closely with operations managers and security experts to address challenges and implement solutions. Your role will require you to balance technical requirements with business objectives, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle.
As part of the Infrastructure Global Expansion team, you will contribute to the strategic planning of AWS's data center footprint — your insights will help shape the future of AWS infrastructure, allowing for scalable and efficient operations. You will also be involved in developing business partnerships that enhance AWS's capabilities and market presence.
