You have a strong background in component engineering and technical purchasing, with experience in selecting and qualifying electronic and mechanical components. You excel in building relationships with component manufacturers and suppliers, acting as the primary point of contact for technical discussions. Your expertise in risk assessments and obsolescence management allows you to navigate complex supply chain challenges while aligning engineering requirements with cost targets.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the technical selection and qualification of electronic components, including active, passive, electromechanical, and mechanical parts. You will define component specifications and lead component risk assessments, ensuring compliance with project requirements and timelines. Your responsibilities will also include supporting new product introduction activities and managing supplier performance to drive quality and responsiveness.

You will develop KPIs and dashboards to track component cost, availability, and lifecycle, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to optimize procurement strategies. Your ability to analyze data and make informed decisions will be crucial in achieving long-term supply continuity and cost optimization.
