What you'll do
As an Infra Decommission Technician, you will be responsible for executing assigned decommissioning efforts, which include recovering cabling infrastructure and sanitizing legacy abandoned cables. You will collaborate closely with project managers and network engineers to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Your role will involve communicating status updates and any challenges encountered during the decommissioning process, ensuring that all team members are aligned and informed.
You will also be involved in maintaining the highest standards for safety and security while working on AWS infrastructure — your contributions will help ensure that customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. You will be part of a team that tackles some of the most challenging problems in the supply chain, making your work impactful and essential to the success of AWS.
