What you'll do

As a Transportation Specialist at Amazon, you will play a crucial role in the Network Operation Center (NOC), overseeing transportation execution across multiple geographies. You will facilitate communication between vendors, carriers, and fulfillment centers, ensuring that all parties are informed and aligned throughout the transportation process. Your responsibilities will include monitoring network performance, analyzing data to identify trends, and implementing solutions to streamline operations.

You will work closely with inbound and outbound operations teams, addressing any issues that arise during the lifecycle of freight movement. Your role will involve tactical problem-solving as well as strategic analysis to improve overall transportation efficiency. You will also be responsible for keeping stakeholders updated on the status of freight and any exceptions that may occur, ensuring transparency and accountability in the process.
