Who you are
You have a strong background in validation engineering, particularly in the context of silicon and systems software. With 5+ years of experience, you've led validation efforts across the product development lifecycle, ensuring that hardware and software components integrate seamlessly. Your expertise in machine learning accelerators and high-speed components like HBM and PCIe sets you apart in the field.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside cross-functional teams to tackle complex technical challenges. Your ability to dive deep into new technology hardware components and scaling technologies is complemented by your strong analytical skills, allowing you to identify and resolve issues effectively.
Desirable
Experience with cloud computing infrastructure and a solid understanding of system-to-system interfaces will be beneficial. Familiarity with custom silicon development and validation processes is a plus, as is a passion for innovation in the AI and machine learning space.
What you'll do
As a Senior Validation Engineer on the Machine Learning Acceleration team, you will own critical validation aspects from early design through emulation and silicon testing. Your role involves validating the complete vertical stack, ensuring that every component—from silicon to PCB and high-speed connections—meets the rigorous standards required for AWS's cloud computing infrastructure.
You will collaborate closely with hardware and software engineers to develop validation plans and execute tests that assess the performance and reliability of machine learning boards and servers. Your insights will directly impact how AWS customers utilize machine learning acceleration, shaping the future of cloud infrastructure.
In addition to hands-on validation work, you will mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and fostering a culture of excellence within the team. Your contributions will help drive the development of innovative solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible in cloud computing.
