Your proactive approach allows you to identify risks and implement effective solutions to mitigate them. You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to convey safety protocols clearly to all team members. You are detail-oriented and capable of conducting thorough safety audits to ensure compliance with regulations. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on safety.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead site risk assessments for current and new activities, ensuring that all operations comply with WHS standards. You will implement site-specific WHS objectives and programs, promoting a culture of safety among employees by providing daily WHS content during shift briefings. You will perform frequent site safety audits to identify non-compliance equipment and processes, collaborating with the Operations team to implement solutions that eliminate exposure to risks and prevent injuries. You will attend to incidents and occupational injuries on-site, guiding area managers on incident investigations and ensuring that lessons learned are communicated effectively. Additionally, you will assist the Operations team with record-keeping practices and ensure alignment with global WHS standards and local regulations. Your role will also involve managing the PPE inventory and coordinating with procurement for order placements, ensuring that all safety equipment is readily available for employees.
