Who you are
You have a strong background in wireless communications and digital signal processing, with experience in developing and integrating hardware and software systems. Your expertise allows you to innovate and define cutting-edge wireless technology, free from legacy constraints. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with implementation teams to evaluate and simulate system-level performance, providing quick feedback on potential improvements.
You possess a deep understanding of communication system architecture and design, particularly in the context of satellite networks. Your ability to develop custom hardware and software solutions for link bring-up and verification ensures that systems operate according to design requirements. You are comfortable with advanced proof of concept systems, focusing on enhancing performance and reliability.
What you'll do
In this role, you will play a critical part in the integration and verification of various hardware and software subsystems as part of the system integration and link bring-up process. You will collaborate with the PHY and Network teams to seamlessly integrate the link-layer within the stack, ensuring that all components work together effectively. Your responsibilities will include developing automation solutions for link verification and conducting simulations to assess system performance.
You will also be tasked with innovating novel solutions that leverage your knowledge of digital signal processing and wireless communications to achieve ultra-high performance for the Amazon Leo network. Your work will directly impact the reliability and efficiency of the communication systems, making significant contributions to the overall success of the project.
